AEM 30-3350 Installation Guide

Water/methanol injection for gasoline engines reduces intake air temperatures and suppresses detonation on forced induction and high-performance naturally aspirated applications. This supports increased boost and more advanced ignition timing without the need for high-octane fuel, with potential power gains of up to 20%.

The AEM Boost Dependent PN30-3350 system uses a progressive, on-demand controller that adjusts injection flow based on manifold pressure via a MAP sensor input (internal or external, optional). This ensures proportional injection across the full engine load range.

The controller is engineered for near-linear flow delivery, improving charge cooling and knock control by better matching injection volume to engine demand.

Hardware includes a revised controller with large, lock-resistant adjustment knobs, enlarged markings for start/full activation points, covered status LEDs and test buttons for improved resistance to contamination, and an integrated positive-lock connector for the main harness.

The wiring harness uses a positive-lock connector, colour-coded wiring for simplified installation, and includes dedicated pump power and ground circuits to prevent accidental activation from shorts. An additional output supports an optional shut-off solenoid for zero-flow isolation when inactive.

The system is supplied with a compact 1-gallon tank featuring an integrated conductive low-fluid level sensor with positive-lock connector and colour-matched wiring to the main harness.
