The Ecumaster Battery Isolator is a compact FIA-compliant motorsport master relay for battery isolation and engine shutdown. Weighing just 83 g, its solid-state design has no moving parts, ensuring long life and high reliability in demanding racing environments.
Integrated alternator load-dump protection safeguards sensitive electronics during emergency shutdown without the need for additional components. The isolator can be operated via two external switches or triggered through CAN bus, for example by the Ecumaster PMU16 during an impact or other event.
The unit is CAN-configurable, provides diagnostic data output, and includes built-in over-current and thermal protection. A multi-colour LED clearly indicates device status. Detailed user manual can be found here.
