The Ecumaster Battery Isolator is a lightweight FIA-compliant motorsport master relay designed for safe battery isolation and engine shutdown. Weighing just 83 g, its solid-state design contains no moving parts, ensuring high reliability in harsh racing environments.
Integrated alternator load-dump protection protects sensitive electronics during emergency shutdown—without the need for additional components. The isolator can be operated via two external switches or triggered through CAN bus, for example by the Ecumaster PMU16 in the event of an impact.
The unit is CAN-configurable, provides diagnostic data output, and features built-in over-current and thermal protection. A multi-colour LED indicates device status for quick system checks.
