Designed for high-power VAG MQB EA888.3 applications (400bhp+), this AIRTEC Motorsport intercooler and big boost pipe bundle provides a comprehensive charge-air cooling and flow upgrade, ideal for vehicles running turbo conversions or increased boost levels.

Intercooler Upgrade

The front-mount intercooler features a 60mm high-efficiency core with high-flow cast end tanks, delivering a substantial increase in surface area, volume and thermal efficiency over the OEM unit. Despite the increased capacity, it fits behind the factory bumper with no cutting or trimming required and is compatible with standard hoses.

Back-to-back dyno testing against the OEM intercooler demonstrated a significant reduction in intake air temperatures and improved consistency under repeated load, supporting increased and more reliable power output on tuned vehicles.

Big Boost Pipe Kit

The big boost pipe kit replaces the restrictive factory charge pipes with smooth, mandrel-bent hard pipes to improve airflow and reduce pressure drop. Larger internal diameters provide smoother air delivery, supporting increased power and torque.

The kit includes:

• 63mm hot-side pipework to maintain air velocity and minimise turbo lag
• 70mm cold-side pipework to maximise airflow and volume at the throttle body
• Full Pro Hoses silicone hose set, including turbo outlet to hot-side pipe

Designed as a direct replacement for the OEM components, the system eliminates common flow restrictions while maintaining correct clearances for a straightforward installation and reliable high-boost performance.
