This comprehensive kit has undergone vigorous testing at Time Attack, the Nürburgring and on the dyno to ensure consistent and accurate performance improvements.

The AIRTEC Motorsport front-mount intercooler upgrade for the VAG MQB EA888.3 platform is a direct replacement for the restrictive OEM intercooler, delivering improved airflow, cooling efficiency and charge-air volume.

Featuring a 63mm core with high-flow cast end tanks, the intercooler provides a significant increase in surface area and thermal capacity over standard while fitting neatly behind the factory bumper with no trimming or cutting required.

Back-to-back dyno testing against the OEM intercooler demonstrated a substantial reduction in intake air temperatures and consistent performance under repeated load, particularly on tuned vehicles. On a Stage 1–tuned test vehicle, the improved cooling efficiency supported higher and more repeatable power output.
